Awarded Mansfield Medal and First Prize Open Choice at Designer Bookbinders Annual Competition. Full black goatskin with alum tawed calf inserts, some hand dyed green, turquoise and orange, green sprinkled edges, green handmade pastepaper endpapers. Hand sewn endbands. The cover shows the dew drops caught on a spider’s web found on an early morning walk in nearby Longleat Forest. The monochrome palette reflects the beautiful woodcut illustrations by Agnes Miller Parker.
